Since closing on our retirement home Household 6 and I have made several trips to my Fortress of Solitude and the process of setting up a functioning northern base of operations is underway. So far there’s the beginning of material storage and some storage for paint media on hand, a pair of sprue snips and some pictures on the walls. Und das ist alles!
But wait, not so fast – with the coming of Six’s winter break, there will be more time to accomplish more and get the studio up and running once and for all. Last night Amazon informed me that I now have a chair to roll around in while I work (no work bench yet beyond the plan view). So I can sit in comfort and play chair hockey until such time as I manage to get a functioning workbench built. There are kits and materials making the trip, as well as paint, tools, and other essentials. I’m excited by the prospect of having a by God purpose built studio and not repurposed basement space. As Flounder said as the Homecoming Parade turned to chaos, “Oh, boy, this is gonna be great!”
