Paging Doc Frankenstein to the Laboratory

As our interlude continues it has become necessary to bring in Herr Doctor to work some of his signature Frankenfigure techniques to give us some figures we need from the figures we have on hand. We’re not going full on Herr Doctor at this point, we don’t really need to just yet; it’s a matter of swapping a torso here, a melon there, what have you. Once again, the compatibility of the Bronco and Gecko figures works in our favor. Feel free to insert the diabolical laugh track here, the possibilities are limited only by the supply of body parts and the needs of our project.

Major surgery often isn’t necessary to obtain a variety in your figures and their poses. Some manufacturers even make their figure sets multi-pose friendly. Masterbox, I’m looking hard in your direction! Swap a few parts here and there, maybe fill a spot or two with putty (nobody said the fit was going to be perfect) and you’ve got different figures. Don’t like the heads? Need a variety of faces, races, or expressions? There’s probably a head set for that thanks to Hornet. We’re not delving into either at this point. Herr Doctor keeps those parts for “special” projects – i.e. more extensive conversions.

Ah, I can see that it’s time for your humble laboratory assistant to get things set up. Herr Doctor is on his way to continue with his ‘experiments’. Until next time…
