Work continues on this masterpiece, with most of it built. All except for the road wheels and…the tracks. Indie link tracks. Now indie links are a special beast – unlike photo etch detail with which I have a love/hate relationship (I love to hate it); I loathe and despise indie link tracks with every fiber of my being. And these are the going to be the most “special’ of all – two parts to each link! With thanks to Frank Costanza for his immortal words – “Serenity now!”. Did I mention I really hate working with PE and indie track links? Unfortunately, in today’s kits they are usually a fact of life. Just have to keep in mind the creedo a wise man once taught me, semper gumby (always be flexible) and get them built. I do still hate them though. Love the rest of the kit, and like they say no kit is perfect.
Back to that which shall not be mentioned, because I still have 91 1/2 links to go on one side and 95 on the other. Serenity now…
