Yeah, like those cheesy infomericals with Vince extolling the wonders to the Chamwow or whatever junk he was hawking there’s always MORE! Arrived for my weekly shift at the LHS (yes, they do still exist) and found two new releases I’ve been waiting on from my favorite pushers, er dealer, er, ah, kit makers on the shelves. My name is Doc, and it’s been about 2 hours since I brought new kits into the house… yup I snagged them. Grabbed them before I opened the store; when I work Fridays it rocks because I get first shot at all the new stuff as soon as it comes in, December thru May I have to wait until my shift. We get a generous employee discount on regular priced stuff so I buy my stuff there usually. One of those new releases would be a tie in of sorts to the Sho”t Kal and -113 I have in the works by way of it being a scenery accessory.
Does this mean that these projects are going to fall to the back burner? Nope, not gonna happen. Thanks to my friends at the Post Office – they were kind enough to drop off the -113 I’ve been waiting for. In the words of C. Montgomery Burns (picture the tented fingers) “Excellent!”. Let the sticking together of plastic begin.
